A water based sealant used to seal edges and seams of the drywall and sub floor to maintain the specific Sound Transmission Class (STC) value of the system designed. Noiseproofing can be easily mudded and painted over. It cleans up with simple soap and water. Noiseproofing remains permanently flexible and will not crack. Noiseproofing adheres to most surfaces including wood, concrete, metal, glass, plastic and gypsum. Making Tecsound Sealant 5900 a part of your soundproofing projects assists with the reduction of noise transmissions.Noiseproofing is easy to apply, no training is necessary. Applied in the same fashion as standard caulking material.

Cleans up is with simple just soap and water, even when wet.
